Overall i feel that our final performance  was  the best run thought we have ever done everyone performed to the best of there ability and the show went near perfectly.With the help of the costume props set music and AMAZING actors we achieved what we had set out too.
personally what went well for me was my body language and facial expressions i felt through the whole thing and even on the sides i maintained my character through the whole thing until we stepped out of that room. But thought rehersals i had some difficulty with some of the things i said and i felt quite awkward and didnt know how to say them such as 'what were his teeth like?' i was not sure how to say this but i finally got the hang of it with Ms help. Also my costume really help me to get into my characters zone i wore a school uniform and i felt very comfortable with everything which really help me calm down. for the beginning part i was prepared with my mouth was and me and alex worked really well together on that piece and it came together really nicely. 

i thought a scene that was very effective was the simple scene with leah(ella) and phil(chem) where they did not talk but the actions they performed and there characterisation and chemistry connection was perfect they performed they proxemics to a T as shown in the picture above as they where close this showed a level of intimacy but as she broke away it showed the connection brake and it is very powerful because through out the play leah builds up to that moment but then she lets it all go. she brakes the connection and this is very effective to the audience because although at the sides  i remained in character i also felt moved by this scene. 

Our piece as a whole was effective because of the little details as the set was simple but the little details like the swing just created the right atmosphere for the play and the way the audience where laid out (thanks to Ms for all the best direction) and the was we had to stay in character just help liven up the show and bring the energy up. Everyones acting was amazing and we all worked so hard on our characterisation and we put the effort in a lunch time rehearsals and staying later after school but it was all worth it in the end, the music in the show that Ms created was amazing and help massively towards this piece foster the people - pumped up kicks at the beginning really set the energy for the whole thing.And also the commitment of everyone brining in props and making sure every little detail was correct and we all help each other for our costume we all wore green ties and uniform to show we schooled together and this helped us connect more as a theatre group.

The main strengths of the performance where they characterisation people did and there characters it made the piece so natural and believable.
the only thing that could of been improved was the small drop of energy till the end we just had to keep that going but other then that it went so well,
And i am so lucky that i get to perform with such talented young friends and im so proud of all of us and overall it went

1. What you are saying.I am talking about dentistry and mostly rambling to myself until i have enough and address boe and Stephanie and i want to tell them what i am feeling so i start to talk to them only to be put back in my place by boe.

2. Who you are talking to and why.i am at first talking to my self then i start to address others around be (boe and stephanie)
because i want my voice to be heard and not to be left in the shadows.

3. What you are thinking.

in this moment my character is being quite selfish and she does only want to think about he self and the situation there in how is effects her she does not ask for others opinions and is being closed minded but this is partly because she is scared and does not know what to think about the situation. But she fully expresses her feelings out to people and does not keep them locked inside her self, she addresses others.

4. What your character wants from the scene.

In this scene all my character wants to do is to be heard 

and she is very focused on getting things her own way 

she wants people to pay attention on her and acted like 

they care just for a moment so she can get some feeling 

of for- fill -ment 

in this photograph you can see a text message we all got to chose what are text messages are characters got and my character got a text message with acceptance to dental college and this showed up in the beginning sequence.

This photograph is an example of what we had to do for all of the play we stood behind the audience and remained in character before we went on and after we got off.

this photo is a perfect example because everybody in site is in there character and it is very distinktive.  

These two photographs are in scene 1 were ben and ursula are telling everybody about adam and what happend to him in this scene i am not talking but i have to constantly stay in character and i have to react to what they are saying and think about my body language. my character is quite nervous and tensed at first situations but as she begins to feel more comfortable her body language changes and thats why i am very calm and my body language is relaxed in this photograph but later on in the scene she begins to tense up more because she finds out what really happend to adam and this makes her feel very uncomfortable. she does not know how to react to the situation she has been put into.      

Today we had a lunch time rehearsal which went really well most people showed up and we only got through 1 scene but we did that one scene really well and we perfected it we all met in are theatre room at 1:30 and started setting up are scenery and we went throught the whole thing.

common ground year 13s i went to see this show and i thought it was amazing and i loved it so much the staging was amazing so simple and the setting with the white boxes and they did show the images and projections i found this was really interesting and effective i aslo loved the acting it was so natural and this was really good to see because DNA is naturalistic.

the play is about 3 sisters and there lives i fought all the actors were really good and they all worked well together. i would definitely see it again. 

Welcome to theebes-

i went to see this show and i thought it was really good and very abstract and also interesting.

At the beginning of the play i was quite confused but near the middle i began to understand it and i really enjoyed it.

I went to see the year 13s common ground shows and the first one i went to see was Ann Boleyn.

i really enjoyed this show because of the epic characters and it shows how important our phisical theatre lessons are and i also really enjoyed the beginning because they are using the same techniques that we are using in DNA there were 6 ann's so the beginning was showing all the Anns doing there movements to show they where the same person it was really effective and interesting because we can now see what the audience sees when looking at us.

Targets for next lesson-

Know who i am talking to and what is the purpose of my line.

Know my lines fully by heart.

Be aware of my surroundings and what is going on around me in the scene.

This rehearsal was really positive but the LINES are still haunting us so that is something to work on for all of us. 
Me and Alex started are into very long but after we spoke to miss we realised that the piece had to be shortened and we chose the section were we use mouth wash and spit into the grass which is going to be around the edges of the audience. And we added in a section where are hands touch and we swap places it is more effective to really show that we are the same character.

We have decided together that we are going to wear uniform and wear it very neatly to show that are character is very 'geeky'. The mouth wash it are prop and it is there to show how crazy we are for are teeth are characters change over is that i meet her in the middle of the stage and i finish her plat and take the head band out of my head and put it in her hair to show are character change over.

from the way me and alex have portraid the character i want them to know she is almost an out cast of the group that amperes to be nieve but it much stronger then her exteria.

Are prop is the hair tie so the way it is used through out the whole play and it is small but efective . 

This photo graph i when ursula and ben are doing there lines together and i have to react of what they are saying without saying anything using my body language and facial expressions to indicate my emotion. I this scene we are all being told by mark(ben) and jan(ursula) what happend to Adam so i was maintaining being shocked and confused angry and scared all at once.

In this photo it is not long after the scene before but this is when mark(ben) tells us about how adam dies and the thing i like about this scene is how different all the characters react so there is a divers range of emotions making the scene more dynamic.

This is another view of the picture before it is around the same time. where you can see the emotions of the other characters as the story is being told.

Rehearsal Reflection-
This lesson we had a entire run through and it went really well, because everyone new where they had to go the only problem is a lot of people including my self had scripts. After this rehearsal i started to understand the play more as it was coming together so well i understood my characters situation and the situation of the characters around her.the play looks really good so far all that is left to do is remove the scripts and smoothen things out.
i was impressed with skye becuase he knew his line quite well and he had a real sense of who is character was. i also learnt from watching everyone else and got to see from an audience perspective of what they saw so i was made more aware of how to move around the space.

In this rehearsal a lot of people where given constructive criticism and it was very help full because we new what we had to work on and it was a lot of help.
What i was told is i have to know who i am delivering the line too and make sure i feed of others energy keeping the scene alive and full of energy. My scene involes a lot of other actors so i will not always be talking so it is inportant to keep reacting to everything thats going on and making sure that i keep acting even when i am not on stage. Reflecting on what i watched was interesting so it was good to see people needing to work on the same things that i need to work and so you can almost see what you look like on stage.
- i will be taking photos of all my written work near the end and putting a date on them and explaining them.

THRUST STAGING-

an advantage of a stage set out like this is that you are acting to all sides but the disadvantage is that you have to remember to act to all sides.

Although this is a classic theater layout it is harder for the actor to be dynamic because the direction is that they can only face is forward no back towards the audience so this is a challange to create tention on the stage and emotion only facing one way.

This is the song where the beginning it is being played and in this section the audience het a chance to see which people are play the same characters mostly through in sync movements me and alex who are the two dannys walk towards each other open are mouth wash gargle and then spit and walk of in a different direction on which we walked on from.

 What was your experience of observing the workshop? Who were you most impressed by and why? 

It was really interesting watching and being a part of the work sop because you really saw and imagined who people would play well as I was really impressed by Ella bland because in past lessons she had read for danny and everyone thought she would be perfect but when she read for leah and jan it changed my perception of her being danny and i could see her playing another roles and thats why she stood out for me.

Q- What was your experience of participating in the workshop? What characters did you read in for? Why do you want to play these roles?

I read in for jan because at first i felt that i wanted to play that part but then after reading i didnt really feel i connected with the character so i decided to read in for danny and as a read for danny i felt more comfitable and i felt that this was the character that i wanted to play before i didnt really feel that she would be well suited to me but i felt different as i read her (his) lines.
