Q - Why do we want to create truth on stage?
We want to create truth on stage to tell the audience a real and truthful story and
without the truth it will not e effective.we want the audience to be effected by the piece.
Q- Why did we play this game?
we played the game 'i dont believe you' because we wanted to practise being able to
convaye the truth through theater.
Q- What did you learn from watching it / being part of it?
i learnt being a part of it and watching it that it is much harder to be natural
and tell the truth in theater. Because when you are acting you are use to not being your self so this was a challenge for me and i am sure for many of my piers.
Write about one of the people that took part in the game (Chem, Tyler, Kimberley, TJ, Skye, Ursula) -
Q- What situation were they entering the room from?
Chem-he just got his crushes number,
me-i had just had my head dunked in a toilet,
Tj -had come home to find everything in his rom had gone
skye-had just found out he had cancer,
ursula-was getting an arranged marriage with a guy she hated by her mum.
Q- How were they able to show truth?
they where able to show the truth through there body language and there facial expressions.
Q- What they change each time they entered the room?
Each time they entered the room there physicality changes.
Q- Were they successful in creating a truthful performance? How? Why?
They were successful in telling the truth because of the way they connected with the audience without talking to them. they did it though there bodys actions and faces, they did to tell a story without saying the reason although we were told what had happend we could of almost guessed through the way they where acting.

Q- What is subtext?
subtext is basicly the hidden meening in what you are saying.
Q- Why did we work out the subtext of the monologue?
we used it to find out what leah was really saying as she said it.
we had to go into pairs and analyze the monologue and write down
the subtext, then one of us would read the original context then after
the other partner would read what leah wanted to say. we did this so
it would be easier to read the context with meaning.
Q- Did it help you to have a better understanding of the character?
it helped us understand are characters more because we got to understand there
thought tracks more.

Q- WHY will a truthful performance be important to our performance of DNA?
It is very important to create a real truthful performance because this play is naturalistic and for us it is quite easy to relate to (not the killing part) but how we are teenagers. So it is inpatient for us to portray this. So if we succeed in this we can truly portray the message of the play to the audience .
